The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year of 2008 with 60 students + 20% of intake through lateral entry. The intake was consistently increased to 120 in the academic year 2010-2011+ 20% intake through lateral entry students. Then intake was increased 180 in the academic year 2013-2014+ 20% intake through lateral entry students. Academic year 2014-2024 the intake was increased to 300 in the academic year with lateral entry students.

Mechanical department had been started it’s journey with sixty students and faculty thatconsistoftenmemberintheyearof2008.Theninnextyear he intake amount increased upto sixty, that is totally one twenty capacity. In that year, the amount of student admitted also same as capacity. The next year it is increased up to sixty that is totally one eighty. Further intake had been increased upto three hundred and that was the intake carried up to now. From starting to till now mechanical department keeping its position in the aspect of academic as well as sports, social participation, National service scheme. Mechanical department keep supporting to Basic functionality of institution & had been trying to lever it’s position as well as institution position
